The tour serves enough food to be equivalent to a hearty lunch (for most people) that should not leave you hungry.

No, we are hearty, but fair-weather tour guides and so begin the tours May and end the season in October.

Yes. All tour participants need to purchase a ticket.

Definitely! We offer a fun experience and great food that everyone will enjoy. Even locals can learn something about the great town we live in, especially as your guide is a Fort Wayne historian. This tour is also an excellent activity with which to entertain out-of-town family and guests.

Water is always included, and additional beverages may be purchased.

Our tours begin promptly at the scheduled starting time and begin at the restaurant with the parking area, which will be shared when you purchase your ticket. The first portion of our tour is a meet and greet introduction for about 5 minutes or so. This allows a few minutes for any late comers. After that, the show must go on in order to ensure that we are able to arrive at all of our tasting locations on time. Please note that refunds cannot be given for latecomers or those that do not arrive as we are guaranteeing you a place. We limit our groups to 12 people maximum and the tours many times sell out, blocking additional guests from booking a space.

Due to the pre-arranged timing of the tour stops, we kindly ask that you wait to shop until after the tour is completed so that we can stay on our food-tasting schedule and ensure that we arrive at our tour partner locations in a timely manner. Remaining on our scheduled route ensures that the food and beverages at each stop are freshly prepared for everyone. If you’d like to return to your favorite tasting locations after the tour to make purchases, your tour guide will be happy to direct you to that establishment.

Absolutely.  We highly recommend you take photos to cherish and share the memories of your tour. In fact, we would appreciate your sharing them on Facebook /Twitter /Instagram with our hashtags, or email them to us so that we can share them too!

Yes, this is a loop tour and at the end you are welcome to go back in our first stop should you like to use a restroom.

The tour covers around 1.25 miles over the relaxed nearly 4 hour loop. We walk at a moderate pace and are sharing the history of the area, so we pause frequently in addition to the four tasting stops. We do recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and coming prepared with a jacket or umbrella in case the weather should change. The tour is wheelchair friendly.

Tips for the wait staff are included and not necessary; however, if you had a wonderful time and would like to leave something we know it would be greatly appreciated, but again, not mandatory.

Yes, there is plenty of complimentary surface parking at the restaurant where the tour begins. The exact location will be shared when you purchase your ticket.

Children are more than welcome, but please bear in mind that some children have a limited attention span and therefore a 3 hour walking tour may not be appropriate for them. Parents know their children best and should assess the situation individually. Since there is a lot of standing and walking, please consider this when deciding whether the tour is appropriate for your child.

If your child is 4 years of age or older, you will need to purchase a ticket for them. While children younger than age 4 are welcome, please notify us that they’ll be joining so that we can accommodate everyone.

Absolutely not! Our tours combine architectural commentary, historical facts, local culture and culinary insight into a unique 4-hour experience. In addition, you end up full of delicious food!

Sorry, we are unable to accommodate special food requests at this time.

To maximize your chances of getting the day, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book well in advance. Tickets can only be purchased with a Visa, AMEX, or MasterCard from our website or by calling. Cash and/or walk-up traffic the day of the tours are not accepted. In order to prepare our restaurant partners and order the correct amount of food ahead of time, we cannot accept bookings that are less than 24 hours in advance, nor can we offer refunds should you be unable to attend as we will be blocking off the space for you and prepaying for your tastings.

Gratuities are greatly appreciated, although not mandatory. We would love it if you would leave us a positive review on TripAdvisor, Yelp, or Facebook!

Yes, bathrooms are available during the tour at all food-tasting locations and again back at the first restaurant where your vehicle is located.

The tours are held rain, shine, or snow. In the event of inclement weather, we will be able to go inside many of the establishments on the tour. If needed, we also provide ponchos in case of sudden weather changes or if you do not have your own umbrella. However, we advise to check the weather conditions for your day’s event and dress appropriately. Comfortable walking shoes are encouraged.

Yes, and all locations are wheelchair accessible.
