Fort Wayne Food Tours shares the tastes, history, art, and architecture of downtown each year late April through early October on Saturday afternoons.
Amber purchased Fort Wayne Food Tours from founders Randy Harter and Sarah Arnold in the fall of 2019. She moved to Fort Wayne in 2002 from Illinois and fell in love with the city early. She has been a passionate advocate for downtown development and a staunch supporter of the local food scene.
Friends and colleagues describe her as an effervescent, passionate, community-minded connector. She has over ten years of non-profit marketing and development experience and currently serves as the Executive Editor for glo and HOME Living Magazines.
Randy Harter started Fort Wayne Food Tours after he and his wife, while on vacations over the years, had experienced the fun of food tours in other cities. A local author and historian, he wanted to share the joy and food of Fort Wayne to the locals that may not often wander the city center, or hear about its cultural and historic past, as well to the many visitors to the area. His passion for his hometown and the unique knowledge he shares is both entertaining and informative.
